Gov. Bill Lee appoints Dr. Ralph Alvarado, a Kentucky state senator, as state health commissioner

Dr. Ralph Alvarado, who takes office on Jan. 16, will succeed Interim State Health Commissioner Dr. Morgan McDonald.
